Apoiar.pt and new Credit Lines
New measures t o support companies totalling 1,550 M € have been approved by the Council of Ministers on the 5th of November 2020.
The Apoiar.pt program was created with the purpose of doling out non-refundable grants to micro and small companies that operate in the sectors most affected by the pandemic. The total amount to be distributed by this program is 750 M €.
Additionally, two new credit lines totalling 800 M € have also been approved. Part of the credit supplied through these mechanisms may be converted into non-refundable funds. These measures are backed by European funds and are predicted to come into force by December 2020.
